Put your name with the Walk of Fame!

The stage of the Howard Theatre is finally filled with music after almost 30 years of silence!

We invite you and/or your organization to make a mark on history by dedicating an engraved brick or distinct custom paver installed in the exterior walkways surrounding the Howard Theatre. These walkways will connect the Howard Theatre Educational Center to Washington's new Walk of Fame.

The Walk of Fame, a project of the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, will extend along 7th Street, NW from the Shaw-Howard U Metro Station and feature an installation celebrating the lives of legendary artists.   The future Howard Theatre Educational Center, to be built following the completion of the Howard Theatre, will truly serve as a cultural meeting place and will include a museum, recording facilities, interactive classrooms, and offices.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the excitement that marks the “Rebirth” of the Howard Theatre. We believe this opportunity has your name all over it and we hope you will too!
